Disney stock holder perks

It wasn't that long ago that stock ownership also meant that you could get other shareholder perks. Some, such as Disney stock, would allow each shareholder to get free passes to the park along with a limited-edition grab bag of goodies. Though most companies avoid giving out perks to stockholders, some still do. We had held Disney stock for 25 yrs and never gotten a thing from them except for mail. I finally sold it last year at about a $2,000. loss. Loved the stock as it was so pretty and got pride everytime we went to a park, but the poor management of the company made it a financial loss for us and we bailed out. Disney stock is publicly traded, but the company discontinued all investor benefits in 2000. Benefits for the three companies are based on the length of cruise, starting with short cruises

Once we got the shareholder info we learned of the perks. During "off" season you could get discounts of 40% at places like the Contemporary and Polynesian and 25% at the Grand Floridian.
