We track mobile phone behaviour, including purchasing of phones, mobile phone bills/airtime, source of purchase and phone usage and delivers beyond  Android enjoys the largest market share among operating systems, but what's the used OS, not by a longshot, but it does dominate the educational statistics.

Even bygone Android versions like Nougat, Marshmallow, Lollipop, etc. have been able to build their individual fan following. Now, Android Oreo’s numbers have shot up significantly to 28.3 percent. Android Pie had only been available for a couple months back in October, and it wasn’t installed on enough phones to warrant a place on the pie chart. Now, Android 9 Pie is installed on roughly 10.4 percent of all Android devices. In one of Google's videos from 27th May 2010 (22:34 minutes in) there is a pie chart showing roughly a third of users each for Android 1.5, 1.6 and 2.1. Does anyone have a more up-to-date source for the percentages of active Android devices with each version of the platform?

Use Android Nougat’s “Data Saver” (Android 7.0+) Android 7.0 Nougat introduced a much more granular way to take the reins on your mobile data with a new feature called Data Saver.
